Diesel sucks, a diesel crossover is a terrible idea.

You are correct, Tesla takes care of this one.
The broken sill panel clips on my Porsche would also agree.
You short Tesla in 2021? Hahahahahahhaha
Agreed, I once took a road trip in a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Getting out after 3 hours was like a spa day. I felt refreshed. The opposite of a normal car where you have to stretch and your spine feels compressed after that journey.
Yeah, people still buy mom jeans even though you can get designer jeans for just incrementally more. There’s your market for the ID.4
Agree. Kia does an amazing job, very impressive what they offer for the price. But they stop at 85%, and every design decision they make is to accomodate cheaper tooling, straightforward assembly.
That’s a lot of talk form BOSCH, who can’t even get their screw guns to hit within the set torque window.
Jalopnik is happy to stand firm on layman’s definition of technical terms overriding say, well-defined mechanical engineering terms.
Damn, the lack of financial understanding here is adorable.
The Manual window crank units themselves, are (slightly) more expensive then power windows. And they are heavier. And they take up more packaging space. And they are reliable about 10x the number of operations compared to the manual version.
I used to design cars (but retired 2 years ago).
I live in an urban area, where there is traffic at 11pm. On a weekend. During a pandemic. Most drives are a slog, and commutes can occupy multiple hours per day. Self-driving cars would be ideal for those people.
Remind me, in 15 years Jalopnik will be doing retrospectives on how cutting edge development of self driving cars was back in 2020, and how the engineers were such rebels at the time.
I think I’ve actually spent $16k on autopilot (2 cars). Well worth it, IMO — but your life and use case may be different so you know, you get to decide if it’s worth it for you! I drive on the freeway a lot, often after a long week at work.
Brought back to what? Wrenching on muscle cars and setting points and gapping plugs and not understanding today’s technology development? Sitting out on the sidelines? Pass.
I write because I’m passionate in the technology. I’ve actually spent $16k on autopilot if my memory serves correctly (two cars).
Does it? Because I defended machine vision and autonomous technologies without once mentioning your namesake. So...who’s obsessed here?
I don’t remember mentioning anything about Elon.
So... A similar filter to Tesla’s Biohazard HEPA filter... just 5 years later?
