Only difference is the Uber shows up, where the Taxi would not bother to show up. At least in SF.

Thank you for clarifying. In that case, I definitely agree. The general public certainly has trouble understanding capitalization, and how valuation of control of a business can be written in numbers that appear as a person is hoarding cash at the expense of others. It’s a crazy look, especially as many people are…
Curious to criticize Tesla when they appear to be the only major auto manufacturer who gives their mass employees some small equity stake.
He’s trying to fit in with the Jalopnik poors who don’t understand capitalization.
What equity stakes to BMW employees get?
there’s a problem because humans simply are not good at having an automated system that does nearly all of the work, and yet being able to leap into action at a moment’s notice. It’s just not how humans work.
So... if we linearly extrapolate that 3 month’s worth of carbon savings, 0.01C, times a full year (0.04C) and multiply times 10 years until 2030, we’d get a decrease of 0.4C
Biker bars are known for their hygine.
Uh, that’s not what the judge said. Bad reporting.
Is it wrong to comment on inaccurate reporting?
As far as breaking the window, we had the car up on stands in the back of the shop after repainting it (I got to help!). The small side window wasn’t 100% rolled up all the way. I was closing the door gently, and the window shattered, under its own weight. Fuckin Whoops. Had to get a custom one made. $6,000 which…
Oh man, I have a few stories about these cars. A client bought an F1, took it out on the track, came back after 3 laps, was like “I like it. Lets buy another” sure enough, one month later, another one shows up. I think this was about 2008 when these things were ‘only’ about $1M. So our small shop had 2 of these.
Oh totally! Just bought a new house, and I’m looking forward to Solar + Powerwall next year. I’ll be 100% off the grid and ready to go when ‘red flag’ blackouts hit our area, thanks to PG&E
Eh, it’s entirely possible to comfortably have a car in the city.
As someone who learned how to bleed brakes on a McLaren F1, I disagree.
Isn’t he also doing a T.30? At a much more approachable price, with a smaller engine?
As someone who has broken a window in a McLaren F1.... please don’t make the glass any thinner. 🙏
I’m ok with snark, but it needs to be at least a bit clever.
Eric, do you hate cars? What do you want, another one of the exact same trucks with the same wheelbase and the same transmission used across the industry? Your attitude sucks, why do you even write for this website?
Not to mention, I think Erik Shilling lives in Reno.... the state of Nevada is pretty fucked as their economic driver (casinos) basically had to shut down. That leaves... some cloud computing company’s data center, a shoe company and.... Tesla, as the main employers of the state.
