I’m loving the Concept One’s proportions and performance tech. They could probably sell a “budget” one with half the power and still get tons of buyers.

So, they could measure the length of each lane (perhaps in real time via laser measurement system) and adjust the time for each specific swimmer’s swim path.
George’s stuff is great! You should come back more often.
Really, “brutal” isn’t in the top 10?
This is sad, because Jill should realize that:
See, I had the same reaction. And at that one point he’s slowing while approaching the light and it says he’s doing 20-30, which looks impossible.
Thanks for pointing that out. I would correct it, but I guess that’s against Kinja policy now?
Haha, exactly! There are so few now, can you blame them for feeling frisky?
Sounds like a major effort to save the 100 or so remaining Kakapos. If you don’t know what a Kakapo is, look ‘em up. Very cool birds.
I can’t think of any reason why the OBD port can’t be wired the ignition switch, so perhaps this is just a failure on the side of the automaker. I don’t think this is something that can be remedied by the adapter design

Oh that’s very convenient! You’re probably right that it could vary by make/model/year.

FYI to everyone - don’t leave your connector plugged in when the car is off because it will slowly drain your battery. I only drive once a week or ever other week, and I needed a jump start each time I forgot to disconnect it.

I agree the design can use some improvements. I am particularly annoyed by the way you you have to select and position each graph individually. It would be more convenient to enter the “add a display” menu and toggle which display to show as a graph/dial/value. And also an option in the main menu to toggle between…

I used Torque (lite) on my Nexus 4 and it was working great, but now with my Nexus 6, Torque (lite) wasn’t emailing the logged data. I could have tried reinstalling, but I opted to buy the paid version. You can definitely get by with the free version, but I don’t mind paying since I got a lot of use from the free…

I didn’t know the procedures varied by container. And good to know about sanitizers, I just assumed they would have used steam or even had self-cleaning autoclave-style systems. Thanks for the info!
I thought pasteurization was HTST and the newly established LTST was added on as a supplemental procedure?
Anyone else think that looks like an A-wing?
I’m sure they will test this, but the LTST treatment could still be a significant extension during use. We need to know 1) difference in CFU (colony forming units) with/without LTST treatment, and 2) number of CFUs added with each cap removal.
(Difference in CFU with LTST / CFUs for each cap opening) = (added number…
Minor detail, but they should have elaborated on an extended and flexible (possible ‘s-turn’ extension) in the brain stem/upper spinal chord. If they expect the brain to move more than a few millimeters to buffer impact forces, then the chord will need to move as well. Otherwise, it’ll just detach from the brain.
