The exact opposite. A large rear sway bar, all else equal, reduces the amount of grip in the rear relative to the front, increasing oversteer.
I see this happen all the time. Person buys a FWD sporty car. Person goes on forum for said car, is told to buy the biggest rear sway bar available to get "dat rotation yo." Person proceeds to spin the car into a curb during the first rainstorm.
