We can’t learn from the failures of the past if we burn books. That’s why Rey has a chance at helping to bring peace; she will “scavenge” from the past and unreadable books to renew the present. Kylo’s “destroy all things that are old” will lead to Chaos, massive destruction, and ultimately suicide.
