It’s not just 80s cars, apparently they’re also using this 1955 Lincoln Futura.
What is the projected calendar year the movie is supposed to portray? It feels like some dystopian universe.
The amazing part of this isn’t the cars, but how much 2018 Newark passes so easily for mid 80s filthy Gotham...
The vindictive side of me likes it. It is like ABC kicked her in the racist ass by firing her and then kept the boot stuck up in there with keeping the show going without her. It is also a good warning to any other racist ass star that they are expendable and the show will go without them.
So....did anyone else miss that they slid in a reference that Becky is “on the drugs” too? I mean, it was meant as a laugh-track line; but when she said that the bottle of random pills found in her dead mom’s closet was “the only thing she wanted”....wow.

Michel Gondry is the king of these types of things. His video for Cibo Matto’s “Sugar Water”, with two long takes running forwards and backwards simultaneously, then flipping in the middle and running in the opposite direction, still blows my mind.
My mom’s phone regularly ends up with seven calculators on the home screen. I don’t think she’s trying to hide anything from her mom.
Teen: “Uhhh, were you messing with my phone?”
