That’s not true.
That’s not true.
Never put salt in your eyes.
“But for an entertainment news web site, it’s a bit Thought Police-y to say interviews like these shouldn’t be covered whatsoever.”
I thought it was really good. Of course I waited until it was streaming on Max (which I do with pretty much everything at this point), so maybe I am part of the problem, but It was the most fun movie superhero movie in years.
lol, time to start a new account again. Maybe next time you can manage a few weeks before everyone knows what a pantswetter you are.
“Ghostbusters 2016"
Yeah, it’s way more likely that liberals would be angry about a show with 4 females leads than anti-woke chuds like you. /s
if the Golden Girls aired today you’d call it identity-obsessed woke trash. rue mclanahan would mention her sexual agency and you’d start bleeding from your eyes
Well considering it’s free, ad supported, and comes pre installed on damn near EVERY smart tv it’s no surprise people are watching it.
It’s been around for 60 years. Even if you take out the 15 year break, there are 41 seasons. It is still probably the BBC’s signature show around the world.
People have been declaring DW dead since Tennant left based on ‘ratings’. Those don’t have the same meaning any more because the viewing landscape has changed. And it appears on iPlayer at the same time it shows up on Disney+. It’s not like BBC viewers are being cheated somehow.
Yeah, I’d be curious to hear the argument for the show being “messy.” I thought it was amazing and really came together in the end.
The animated Watchmen was supposed to be headed for a 2024 release, but the trailer’s framing of it as a “movie event” makes it sound like it’s going to end up landing on Max, instead of theaters.
Jesus Christ. Don’t get me wrong, Shane Gillis is very much not to my taste and I find his loudest fans on the internet to be obnoxious but I don’t know that he’s done anything to deserve this much vitriol.
not sure if this is a trap for the most ‘well actually’ response ever, but those aren’t mcu movies.
Yeah, I assume he’s possessed or something though.
The new Dune isn’t a remake of Lynch’s film any more than a new adaptation of Hamlet is a “remake” of previous ones. Something that goes back to the source material (and could have been made without the prior movie existing) isn’t a remake. That being said, in a lot of ways I actually prefer Lynch’s version, as…
The good (first) half-season of Luke Cage.
That’s completely different. Dune was not Lynch’s creation, and the Villeneuve version may have taken some influence from it here and there but it is a distinct new adaptation of a novel. Remaking Possession is like remaking Eraserhead or Mulholland Drive. Sure, you could try, but what is the fucking point??
The continued Adventure Time media has been high quality, well received, and faithful to the original.
