right? i see no reason to hate on this. he’s a great actor, and he loves science fiction — and CLASSIC SciFi, no less — like almost no other famous person i can think of. First Tig Notaro had a minor role in Discovery, and now this? i’m over the moon.

I loved the original but at this point I’d rather they just not. Between a lot of the jokes probably just failing at this point and most of the original cast being dead/retired they should just let this idea go.

My thought on this sort of thing is that in a videogame, its perfectly acceptable to make the story more than 2 hours long, and thus put more substance and detail into it.  Immersion might also kick the perceived quality up a few notches.

I liked Iron Fist actually. A lot of people weren’t looking for a story about a kid with horrible PTSD returning from years of being tortured in captivity only to find out that the one person he thought he could trust was the person who betrayed him, but I found it to be an interesting take.
