It was shown at the end of Empire….

He probably spends too much time on the Internet.

Think of the Peanuts theme. Classic piano and everything. Now, imagine that same Peanuts theme as done by Skrillex. Wub wub screeeeech distorted piano wub wuuub

No, because cases like this smack of rich artists complaining that they aren't rich enough, hiding behind this guise of "I'm an artist."

And Taylor Swift only comes with one single a year.

I haven't used Spotify yet, but it's where I've found so much new music that I still have a warm heart for it. Plus I have a lot of genres I like so the songs I've heard before are usually welcome.

So, that Time article that this article has linked has Taylor Swift complaining about Spotify royalties, saying "music is art, and art is valuable, and valuable things shouldn't be free, and blah blah"

Wasn't there a Newswire a few weeks ago that was basically just a glorified Great Job, Internet post?

There are so many "in a few years, they'll be digging this review up to show how wrong it is" comments, it's uncanny.

I would've been more forgiving if the freestyle were in the vein of "can you even call this shit rap anymore?" like "CoCo". But it wasn't even rhythmic; it was completely offbeat. 1/3 of it didn't even rhyme. Then we get his supposed catchphrase. At least "CoCo" is catchy in its kindergarten way.

I wanted to say the same thing. Black Rambo was like Supa Hot Fire levels of bad, but the audience is supposed to take his garbage seriously?

I think that's a bit unfair. Empire is a unabashed soap opera about an unprecedented black-owned record label. Plus it has a huge variety of characters of varying degrees. The name is close to "Dynasty" for a reason….

That's a bingo. It is somewhat unsettling to see rappers and athletes that did start from the bottom and acquire fame and fortune admit, even the tiniest little bit, that Scarface is their inspiration.

Al Pacino's accent always takes me out of the movie. It's like some weird mix of Puerto Rican and Louisianan

Well, as long as this version gets a bunch of celebrities and wannabes to idolize it for all the wrong reasons, everything will be fine.

The ratings relative to other shows on the channel are what matters. And Fox has some very low-rated shows all over their schedule. Sleepy Hollow ratings aren't so good, but they are better than Backstrom, Gracepoint, etc.

In a span of several months, we've had solid-to-great album releases from Kendrick, KRIT, Run the Jewels, Lupe, Joey Bada$$. And even J.Cole, Drake, and Nicki Minaj tried to do something a little different.

This album is tits

You might even say that he's a good kid.

They're still eminently recognizable, still sell records, still get airplay, and hip hop elder statesmen. I'm not saying they're what they used to be. But they will still overshadow a lot, both the bullshit and the greatness, just based on their fame.
