As a black man living in the South, where being plus-sized, thick, or whatever synonym tickles your fancy, I see this all the time. Every single thin or even *average* black girl I know was ragged on since childhood as being too skinny and needing "meat on their bones." So most of them had rather questionable

He's pretty much in the former; he's still gonna sell really well and have sold out shows. I mean, hell, you'd think Kanye West would be in the latter by now but he's still in the former.

Loosely based on his life and career? So the first season will be great and destined to be a classic, followed by a very solid second season, then two seasons of complete crap that the show should be ashamed of, only to gloriously come back in the fifth season?

I agree. I never saw Precious either, but her performance in Coven makes me question her talent. Other than a couple of well-delivered zingers here and there, she has been the weakest link of this group by far, and it's not the writing

I'd also include Outkast ATLiens. Ah, the golden age of rap.

Then we would have never had The Office, House of Cards, and Sanford & Son. Hating a bad remake is fine, but hating a remake just for the sake of it being a remake is kinda silly.

You'd give her a rib? I dunno, I think I'd rather put my penis inside her.

If they weren't attached, no one would bitching. They wouldnt be WATCHING.

To be fair, the review itself was biased. It was originally gonna be a C (par for the course for SHIELD) but instead graded it a D+ because of factors outside of the actual episode. And that's unfair.

Look, I hate NCIS, but coming on website saying "durr why dumb show I no like no cancell?" without knowing the ratings (and using that as an excuse, no less) is either insipid or inflammatory.

I'd like to think of it as Butte, Montana

Isn't that just Fringe?

I doubt Blacklist ever gets Breaking Bad good, but the point he's making is that the reviews are biased. Even if they got better actors/performances/stories for the supporters and cut down on the FBI's ineptitude, the show would still get a C+ from the reviewer.

Missed the point

Quite a few Blacklist fans that read AVClub have been lamenting these reviews since the show's inception. Nugent just flat out doesn't care for the show, to the point where he will miss major plot points then remark on them in his review. I mean, hell, the SHIELD reviewer seems mostly unbiased, and that show has

You're not. Blacklist has so far been the "there's dumb stuff but Spader is awesome" show. This was the first episode that didn't have nonstop eyeroll moments (other than Lizzy turning into John McClane, and well why the Calvary would need to be called at all if contact with the blacksite is lost). I enjoyed Ressler

Classic Zoe

If the show were accurate, Queenie would've gone to Popeye's. New Orleans Popeye's is unreal

I also think this ep doesn't warrant a D+. That said, though, I think this ep might be the one that makes me abandon this show, at least until this series picks up steam. I really really had my hopes up for quality uptick after the last couple of episodes, but this one felt like a giant step-back. I'd give it a C. And

Lol playoff game. Not it was just a big game in that division.
