Three years running now my headlights on the same car were “out of alignment”. I argue with the owner and tell him I’ll take it home to align the lights instead of paying $125 and have it back in within the 15-day reinspect period. He passes the car every single time seeing that he’s not making any more money off me.

Not a car problem, but on my quad (Yamaha Banshee). I melted a piston down riding on Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan due to high compression and too low octane gas. Took everything apart when I got home, bored the cylinders, put in new pistons, checked the crank for trueness, etc.
