ahhh, sorry. i was hoping Uraguay would score early forcing Italy to play box to box with some offense.

funny thing, I'm listening to radio broadcast and Tommy Smith said, "NO WAY" that anything was wrong for a red card. yes. that emphatically. i can't stand that guy. never have.

unfortunately, Italy only need a draw, and they're playing for it. time wasting, shirt grabbing, foul after foul....

i'm sorry, but 3 great saves by Buffon isn't saving this game. you may like the way Italy is playing, but it's difficult to watch.

Tommy Smith is the absolute worst. This game has been brutal on tv so for second half i'm listening to radio broadcast and playing a little CoD. When Italian was red carded, Smith said absolutely no way and this was after he watched replay. So i went back out to TV to see. I have no idea what game Smith is

that doesn't make the rest any easier to watch.

if you are almost a soccer fan, i really hope you are skipping this Italy/Uraguay match. I'd hate to lose you as a fan of the sport. ugh. brutal.

This game is brutal. there is absolutely no entertainment value to watching Italy play a game in which they only need a draw.

i've been a lifelong fan and played my entire childhood up thru high school. I'll hang with you and watch anytime without any snide remarks. The more people who wanna learn a little, the better.

i suppose the Harlem Globetrotters play the best brand of basketball, too?

People still wear camo shorts?

that last Portugal goal is on Bradley. All he had to do was pass the ball to open man. Instead, he tries to dribble and loses the ball and immediately leads to counter by Portugal. Smh...

holy. shit!! 2-1

well, it looks like it could be one of those bad Bradley games again. Someone tell him to stop playing 30 yards behind Clint. Step up son. You have defensive midfielders behind you. Stop dropping so damn deep.

and there's the defensive mistake. ugh.

and if Barcelona were that good they would win UCL every single year. So they win La Liga? Big deal.

wow, I wish so many teams would just do what you say, they might actually be so much more successful.

well, Messi gets a double team because he's that damn good on his feet. Could you imagine an aerial threat in front of him getting only single teamed in the box. It'd be a field day for a guy picking front or back post runs and getting easy separation from single center back marking him. if only....

like the idea, but would rather have Diskerud in place of Zusi. But, important thing is Bradley higher up the midfield.

well, looks like Klinsmann is sort of doing that, but putting in Zusi instead of Diskerud.
