I really wonder what’s going on at Delta. They’ve been really aggressive about enforcing mask-wearing on their flights even to the point of permanently banning people from flying on their planes and now this. Tossing Karen off the flight is one thing but an upgrade and a “Black Lives Matter” Delta pin? I’m stunned. If

You misunderstand me. I am absolutely delighted that Delta did the right thing. They could have ignored it or treated it like an isolated incident.

Why backhand the airline, when they did the right thing? Also, that seat does have a cost and they just booted a paying customer. If we’re going to drag companies through the mud for doing the right thing, then they never will.

Should have kicked Karen off the flight.

There seem to be a lot of chickenhawks that vociferously support Trump, don’t there? Perhaps they see something in his bullying, boastful behaviour that they recognise in themselves.

With the crazy shit he’s been spouting lately, I’m hoping it’s a sign of an aneurysm getting ready to burst.

When those on the right whine about this article being based on anonymous sources, keep in mind that Trump is NOTORIOUSLY vindictive, and anyone who dared speak against him would wind up with their career a smoking ruin, just like LTC Alexander Vindman.

Fortunately, veterans like myself and current service members picked up on this character trait relatively early and Donald Trump is not popular with the military. Unfortunately our patriotic conservative family members have decided we suck for not actually loving (Trump) America and accuse us of being naive idiots

Fuck Trump and everyone who voted for him; reason #639,584 I hope he just falls over and dies.

In so much as Trump has any belief system, I believe he measures the worth of things by the amount of inconvenience they cause him (and whether it makes him money, whether it looks like Ivanka, etc.)

Every single person I know has had a change of the body this year.  I’m betting there are a lot of glass-house-dwelling-stone-throwers involved in this nastiness nonsense.

She’s wearing a chain around her neck, for fuck’s sake. Feel free to die on a different hill.

Are you there Jah? It’s me, Ras Adele.

tbh, given Jamaica’s history of slavery, the chain tightened around her neck was the most disturbing part of the look (for one jinni). Is it just me?

I think it’s often hard to realize how much “nobody will care,” but it’s very true.

My issue is that as a middle aged woman who moved back to my hometown a bit later in life, an am divorced, a lot of my friendships are tertiary, or activity-based. Like I have a friend that I’d see movies with. Another friend who was always willing to try a new restaurant with me. A third friend who loved live theatre

Were you objectified in a traumatic, obsessive way by literally the entire world like she was? Did your millions of dollars depend on you looking like a “teen idol?” Did tabloids say nasty, horrifying things about you every time you gained the slightest bit of weight?

Me too. That eye contact gave me the heebie-jeebies.
