The more I think about it, the more I realize you’re probably right. I say the same thing all the time about Caylee Anthony, and although “her killer was never found,” we ALL know who murdered that baby.
I hear ya. I pasted this on another post, but ICYMI and are ever in town again...this is a good guide to non-chain places here. We aren’t cokmpletely horrible! https://www.thrillist.com/eat/nation/bes…
Now I’m wondering if Shapiro’s bakes their own bread...
I feel like you might be the type of person who isn’t easy to please...
Hey, if you do ever make it back, here’s a good guide to avoiding the chains ;-) We do have way too many - but like someone said upthread, the food scene has become pretty decent in the past five years or so. By Hoosier standards, anyway, ha ha. https://www.thrillist.com/eat/nation/bes…
Clearly you’ve never been to Taylor’s.
So you were in Noblesville, not Indy. We Hoosiers refer to that area as Noble-tucky. Your experience resembles that area perfectly.
That’s exactly what he’s talking about. And he clearly needs to get out more.
Stop making waves.
Yeah, the rest of us don’t really consider region rats Hoosiers...although I will commend you on your selection of BSU for your university experience. You can’t get a much more bland and intolerant populace than in fucking Muncie, Indiana.
Hey, it’s not Indy’s fault you picked a *chain* restaurant...
From WHO. And what scares me most is that frankly, it doesn’t sound as though they are super-confident that this is ALL it can cause...
Updated version: dad’s bail set around $20k. Ughhhhhh.
Good lord.
Love love love this. Also something an old AA buddy once said (I am no longer sober, but he is) that could not have possibly resonated more with me: “If I could drink like a normal drinker, I’d do it all the time.”
I just want you to know that I could have written this myself. That recognition of “if I died tomorrow, my life would have been a complete fucking waste” is the #1 fear that keeps me drinking and drugging. Ridiculous cycle, isn’t it?
...and yacht-girling it up on the old S.S. Easy Money for years...
It might have been me. Around my area, a lot of the women in the moms group I am part of refer to one another that way. It’s meant to be a sort of synonym for ‘my friend,” “girl,” etc...ie “Good for you, my friend.” In any case if it WAS me, ignore - but I maintain that “moist” is way, way worse ;-)
