I liked it. And I loved the line you used as your heading. So much absurdity and then they slip in something that feels real. Can't imagine anyone else pulling this character off, but I think Patrick & Adrian are going to be comedy gold.

She left. I thought that was the big heartbreak for Jamie.
Angela is one of those 'cops' who justifies breaking rules as a means to an end, ie catching criminals. If anything, she takes her job & ambitions too seriously.
Yeah but he knew. Mel is right about the store…and the sudden Noon sex break on the day of the meeting.
I really thought Tasha would end up killing Shawn to save Ghost. Would have been an interesting scene emotionally. Some think Kanan will use Shawn's death to drive a deeper wedge between Ghost & T (blaming Jamie for Shawn's murder) but T doesn't trust Kanan at all so no idea what will happen this week.
Fantastic show. Marathon this weekend so good time to catch up. One of the best shows on tv.
Tasha doesn't love Shawn at all. He is…was…just a bandaid for her bruised ego & libido. And Angela's ambition comes from the same place as Ghost's & Tommy's. It was their escape from a life of poverty & wretchedness. It is their lifeline to the better side of the tracks.
