I’m not sure about this grimdark remake of Coming To America.

Rachel Weisz acting drunk is the best part of this movie: “I....am a liBRARian.”

These two films (lets forget the third one ever existed) are my favourites. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz had the best chemistry, and they’re just plain fun.

As others have mentioned, Sam Taylor-Wood’s a woman and directed the first one. But the big problem with 50 Shades is that the author has all kinds of rights and exercises them. Since she’s a crap writer, it’s a real pain for the director. I’m sure the author (whose name is blissfully escaping me right now) is a big

Betty Thomas, the director of that movie, also started out in Second City in the 70s, and had a major role on Hill Street Blues in the 80s, for which she won an Emmy for best supporting actress in a drama.

Kirsten said she was crying because she was overwhelmed with joy due to being on the red carpet with Sofia.

Honest question here, Lauren, and i’d really appreciate you getting to the bottom of this; it’s been nagging me ever since I saw the pics from the premiere... WHY IS KIRSTEN CRYING?!?!

I was surprised at how much I loved the Bling Ring. I never thought all that highly of Paris Hilton, but I felt a tremendous amount of sympathy for her after I watched that movie and read the Vanity Fair article it was based on. I also never found Emma Watson to be all that remarkable until this scene. The girl can

As a fellow sports loving woman one of the reasons I like Deadspin is that sexist comments like the ones you see everywhere else online are semi rare here & more often than not that kind of bullshit is called out. But this thread is... it’s bad. It’s worse than usual. Maybe it’s a weekend thing.

Men sure are emotional and irrational lately. I think we need to stop letting them make statements, run things, and read the news until we can get a handle on what’s happening.

I keep giggling when I read that Tyra “suggested the girl was ‘accidentally conceived.’” I can only imagine the inconsequential, casually off-color joke that these questionable parents were so offended by.

Jeff Koons doesn’t care if you know it or not.

Another man blaming his shortcomings on a woman, even from nearly a decade ago. How quaint.

This sucks so much! I really liked this show and was looking forward to seeing where the characters went next. Kind of wish Baz didn’t make this such an over the top production, maybe there wouldve been some money left in the coffers for a proper wrap up.

Why is it every time a woman gets something nice, someone has to question why they need it?

They’ve basically turned into the older dudes (Frankie Faison/Robin Harris) fanning themselves in Do The Right Thing. “Motherfucker, you’re thirty cents away from a quarter! How the fuck you gonna buy a boat?”

I wish they’d just make a full series of Super Best Friends Forever

I didn’t even think about it, but now they totally need to get Adelaide Kane (aka Cora Hale) to play Reign, just for the joke.

I've presently got USAA for insurance (car, renters, valuable property (camera gear), motorcycle) and the rates are great - I could save a little money by switching, but the customer service is, to me, more than worth the (slight) extra expense. If you have the option, think about giving them a call.
