I’d say the laptop WITH a 3-4 year warranty. Having my laptop under warranty saved me hundreds of dollars when I was in school. It’s worth it.

I want to travel internationally so bad! But I’m bad a saving money! Hopefully I’ll make it to Europe before I’m 30.
I went there in college and loved it! Also, Iceland is really small (obvious, I know) and it’s possible to do a lot of things in a short time.
In terms of your upgrade, I think the “free upgrade” is a myth, but as you said the gate agent feeling friendly is a real thing. Plenty of my friends get bumped to business class, just by being polite to the gate agent and being flexible, so it can happen.
That is a big problem in some places because there will be kids hanging out in front of the school when no one’s there to watch them, but the parents don’t have another option.
I loved it, I was done by 1:30 and it was glorious. But I guess I’m in the minority for that.
That was the highlight for me. But I quit after 50 minutes.
Well, off to the gym to watch the debate because I don’t have cable. At least the one good thing about this debate is it’s forcing me to exercise.
Is there any where to watch online?
My sister in law worked semi part time through out her whole pregnancy and after my nephew was born. She was only out 3 months, but was able to work from home the whole time. I’m shocked more companies don’t do the same.
But I wonder about the general mindset of the employees in general. If they have that much flexibility in their schedule for planning, they may not need as many vacation days. I can imagine if you’re allowed to plan your vacation and pick which days you know you’ll be gone instead of having to request it, then you get…
Any of those would have been a better cover. Male power stance is attractive for everyone.
The answer is: $$$$$. She’s worth a lot and she’s big right now and probably will be for a while. You want to keep (especially if they involve music and business) connections like that on good terms.
I could see my library system doing that as well, however they would probably make it property of our system if you wanted to do that. :-/
I’ll read it. I’m really trying to add more diversity into my library and black women always get the benefit of the doubt from me.
On a related note, please contact me if you’d like to help digitize my father’s [significantly smaller] collection of PBS documentaries, major ‘80s and ‘90s series finales (M*A*S*H was even recorded on SP!), and movies of the week.
It’s not on Netflix right now, but A Different World is! And to add to your point, TV is getting a little better for telling black folks’ stories. It’s just that for me, I’m not Olivia Pope yet, I won’t be for another 10 years. I’m still in my Abbi/Ilana phase and I’d like to see that reflected. We need more diverse…
I forgot about that. They haven’t really talked about him much since that first season. I hope she’s able to pull through.
I’m wondering if Lena Dunham faced the same issues with bringing Girls onscreen. She and her character Hannah have a lot of similarities, so I’m surprised that HBO is giving Rae so many issues after seeing the success of Girls. Or is it really that high of a level of ignorance on the end of HBO’s executives.
10/10 would still bang. He CGI in any kind of attire, as long as it’s him.
