I’ve actually been impressed with their scripted shows as well. I loved the first 2 seasons of Awkward., Faking It is great, and Teen Wolf fills the void that True Blood left behind (it’s my guilty pleasure).

I was explaining that to a friend. I refused to harp on Hope Solo because a lot of athletes get in trouble-she’s just one of the many. Doesn’t make it right, but still.

It shocks me the number of companies and organizations that don’t understand that the best way to keep employees is to take care of them. Of course there are some that don’t care about keeping employees, but you get my drift.

Seems like a really bad idea not to care about your waitstaff. Bad service at a restaurant is almost as bad as bad food at a restaurant. You’d think they would treat the people who interact with the costumers nicely, but I guess that hasn’t occurred to them yet.

I refused to shop there after they had the nerve to ask for $2.49/lb for organic sweet potatoes. That was some grade A bullshit right there.

My cousin had something similar at his wedding. Kids were allowed but they had they’re own smaller reception with kids food in the lobby and were taken care of by 2 sitters. And they had games and a movie going. You had to be around 12 to be in the main reception. I thought that was a fair compromise.
