lol yeah those snowflakes didnt get that i was being ironic when i had my Epic Gamer Moment anyway I would like a full time drive in one of the best seats in the sport where i will be compensated in the millions now pwease
Bad people hiring a bad person is pretty relevant to the discussion about that bad person, hope this helps.
No i am absolutely going to watch him and root against his dumb ass, laugh when bad things happen to him, and post online about how he is a dipshit who shouldnt have a ride. That is how sports entertainment works.
Again, I don’t care about Rick Hendrick’s business motivations or company.
I mean we can have this argument over whether NASCAR is an advertising company or not, but the truth is that on a team level, the advertising does not exist without the fans. Eyeballs = ROI on sponsor dollars. No eyeballs, no sponsors. NASCAR needs the product (vroom vrooms) to entice fan eyeballs to survive.
Good for noted business fraud felon Rick Hendrick’s driver lineup, but I am not Rick Hendrick. I am a consumer of a sports entertainment product. I don’t care about Rick Hendrick’s motivations, nor do I owe Rick Hendrick anything.
Important to who? The owner of the car, noted felon, Jerry Falwell friend, and Marco Rubio (lol) supporter Rick Hendrick, sure. The consumers of the product, us, the fans? While I like seeing good fields with good drivers, losing Larson’s career 6 wins is a blip in the radar compared to all the other drivers that have…
Hendrick was sponsored by Jerry Falwell’s scam, culture war grievance “college” Liberty University, so....
God forbid he actually have consequences for his actions. We, the fans, don’t owe him, a millionaire sports entertainer, literally anything. We don’t owe him a second chance, we don’t owe him redemption, we don’t owe him a job. There are plenty of other drivers who haven’t said the n-word in front of thousands and…
I don’t think you need to “scoff” at anyone learning at 28 that they shouldn’t be racist. I don’t owe Kyle Larson, a sports entertainer, anything.
Hm I dont know, I dont have any evidence of Erik saying the n-word in front of thousands of people on a live stream. Seems more grown than Kyle Larson.
Old white guys with a history of saying the n-word (often recently) are incredibly desperate to reform/forgive Larson for saying the n-word due to what taking personal responsibility for their actions would actually mean for them.
Race was insane and incredibly fun to watch. After all the flag-to-flag green races we’ve had the last few years, it felt good to have an oldschool wreckfest with everyone seemingly seconds away from wrecking. Power, Rossi, McLaughlin, Herta, Hinch, Daly, etc all made mistakes that took themselves out of it.
Extremely bummed about this move and I really don’t understand the rationale, unless they are intending to drastically re-work the schedule for next year.
The dudes last lap was truly insane. Will has that ability to wring every last drop out of a car on that last lap when it is all on the line better than any other driver I have ever seen. Mario and Montoya are the only ones I can think of that had that 1 lap wow factor like Will does.
“If you get rid of slavery, then all the slaves will starve!”
“Regulatory suicide” is the type of dipshit catchphrase college libertarians try to use as a debate gotcha.
