They didn’t get a dime from me.  Potatoes were 2/3rd of my usual order.  Their loss I guess

True, if they could do it all (better res, no cord) that would be great. However, that damned cord is the #1 reason I’ve had to send mine in for repairs 3 times already (thanks kids).

This adapter wouldn’t be necessary in the first place if Sony didn’t make the plug for the PS4 camera proprietary. They’ve learned with the camera for the 5 which is USB3.0.

I guess they thought of one reason why the 5th of November should be forgot.

The nice thing with corn at least is that the cob itself should keep your fingers far away from the blade...unless you really let them dangle over the side :)

USDA loans are not that great if you have any other option. First off the grants and subsidies are non existant if you are close to the income line. The income line will vary based on family size, but honestly if you’re making that low of income to get a sizable subsidy, you probably shouldn’t be buying a home. Also

If you don’t like single purpose gadgets, a mandolin slicer with a thick cut blade works pretty well also.

But who will be his plus one? Squee? Tobin? Donkey Dong Doug?

And yet a lot of people who wouldn’t be affected or would actually see benefits from this (especially that extra child tax credit) will vote against Biden because he’s “raising taxes”

Now playing

I saw a documentary about city dwellers moving out to the suburbs, it didn’t work out so well for them

I have had good luck by keeping a set of square head screwdrivers around.  A normal stripped Phillips head screw becomes closer to a #2 square head than anything else.

I’ve upgraded to a dual monitor setup with dual switches (one KVM, the other HDMI) so I can dual screen my work laptop, home computer, or Playstation (or mix and match).

I used to have a car where it had the triangle but it was on the low gas light, so you’d only see it if you let it get below 2 gallons

I move away from the police to breathe in

You and me both. Between no commute (although gas is now 50% cheaper than when we started to shelter), limiting trips to stores to once a week, and very little online spending, I’m keeping more money in the bank even without the “stimulus” payment. I ended up paying off a credit card and the rest is in the bank in

Crap, I’m on the Government cloud 365 platform which means we’ll probably see this in 2021 :(

My initial instinct right now is that if anyone says anything definitive about COVID-19 that cannot be backed up by known numbers, they are probably full of shit.
