Vague followup spoilers for a multiple years old movie. Rogue One is amazing. It’s one of my favorite Star Wars properties, so I might be slightly biased, but them being killed off is 100% logical based purely on the story they were telling and the stakes of the mission they were on.

I really liked Kyle Katarn as a character because he was a completely new and original character, not some bit player from one of the movies that was crowbarred into every goddamn momentous or important event either shown or referenced in one of the movies (though that did happen a bit, e.g., Death Star plans).
