Wasn't there something in The Wire about how polygraphs are used for scaring criminals as opposed to lie detecting? It was a small plot point.

The pilot is pretty much perfect in my book. The moment that sold me on the show was when George Sr. realizes that the loopholes is bullshit. It's all in Jeffrey Tambor's performance. I was enjoying the pilot up the to that point but that moment made me realize I was in for something brilliant.
