This. They’re either too cheap (worrisome) with too many miles, or way too much with too few. There’s seemingly no middle ground. I guess the Focus will have to hang on a little longer...

Why is the Cayman’s cockpit still stupidly oversized/misproportioned? Are American’s heads fatter now (like literally, not figuratively). God they look so bad on an otherwise half-way decent looking car.

We didn’t get the Gen 1 cars here in ‘Murica. It was a miracle we even got the Gen 2s.

Well, keep in mind the lobes themselves are turning at 1/3 the output shaft speed, so at 9000 rpm, they’re turning only 3000 rpm.

Because Venturi tunnels. The right one had to be chopped in a bit as it is because of where the ports are on a wanker. They also can’t function as a stressed member so the whole of the engine is boxed in by a subframe. The installation was far from light.

Miami has probably the biggest draw for a decidedly international crowd in the U.S. both in terms of tourism and people living there part or full time. There’s probably a better built-in crowd there than anywhere else. For most of the draw, it’s been largely a pilgrimage crowd to see the races. There, you’ll have

Hot take: The original Supra ̶w̶h̶e̶e̶l̶s̶ was ugly and cheap looking.
