I’ve already made peace with this. I just cannot spend that much time on a game anymore like I used to (there is a single exception).
Killing off a major character is one thing, but replacing the entire cast and the main storyline is something else.
This is still one of my all time favorites! I actually enjoy a few of Gary Paulsen’s books.

Reading quite a few books right now. Just started Collapse, by Jared Diamond, on civilisational adaptability and the factors for their successes and failures. Only at the very beginning, but it looks like good stuff. (Also, he quoted “Ozymandias” as the opening. He had me there.)
I can’t wait to live in a future dystopia where our every move is spied upon and mega corporations have wrestled control of the governments away from the people.
