I recall in the Episode 3 commentary by Lucas him self where he explained that The Revenge of the Sith, accounted for about 80% of details and idea he originally had in mind for what happened before Episode 4. He said then also said that Episodes 1 & 2 only contained the remaining 20%. So then he continues explaining

I did read Lost Stars. So I guess I might have a few YA books in the mix.

While I have not read all, I have read most of the new Cannon novels (excluding young adult and children stuff). I read tons of Legends books back in the day as well.

I thought Star Wars: Thrawn was one of the most enjoyable Star Wars books I ever read. I look forward to a sequel.

DS9 is my favorite Star Trek. I was of fan of what it explored for topics and concepts, but the key detail I like is in its execution. Each episode stands on its own, even when many when brought together bring a larger narrative.

Married or divorced my wife and kids would still be entirely dependent on my income either way. So I guess in that sense having an extra $36,000 per year could maybe be a boon.

They both look like comic/cartoon characters too me.
