No, there wasn't any change in who won, he was just able to end the game standing in the base, which you can't normally do. It's more "eh, I guess that's cool" than anything else.

What about Halo multiplayer promotes unfair advantages? Legitimately curious, because I think that had one of the most balanced multiplayers I've ever played, leaps and bounds ahead of something like Call of Duty, where you have access to way more weapons and upgrades the longer you play.
I understand, man. I would be disappointed too, I'm just saying it's not really their fault, they're trying to make it available to as many people as they can. And it'd be nice if they did a bunch of events and had it span wider timeframes, but I'm not sure how many "events" there will really even be once it goes…
Well the point is scale-testing, so they want a ton of people on at the same time. That wide a range would defeat the purpose a bit.
Are you mad that they're scheduling an event at a time that maximizes the number of people who can participate? Yeah, it sucks that you can't, but way more people can't if they do it Tuesday afternoon.
I agree with this, I really like what they've been doing with the game. I understand why some people lost interest, but I don't understand the general hate. I don't play all the time, but I pop back in pretty regularly, and I almost always have a good time with it.
Because the move is clearly catering to men. Every comment referencing men doesn't have to be sexist. I'd agree with him. Oliver is one of the few useful people working in the largely pointless position of sideline reporting. If men, the presumable target of the move to a "younger, hotter" reporter, would rather see…
Then your sense of humor has changed? His is still the same, and his jokes, puns, etc. are still just as good as ever.
That's counting Marth/Lucina as 1, which the trailers don't, hence 4.
I can't say I've read it, but I can say I'm not ignorant enough to think the word was invented 30 years after the book came out.
My favorite (read: absolute worst) version of this is when the word is used in its original context, and someone jumps to the comments to say "that's not cats on the internet, so it's not a meme", as if no one over the age of 16 has ever heard the word before.
Seriously, this was terrible. If this meme wasn't driven into the ground already, this made it 100 times less funny.
I saw that study. It said something like 91% of reports on Obama by Fox were negative, and 94% of reports on Romney by MSNBC were negative, Fox is less biased. That's not comparing biased to non-biased, that's comparing a turd to a very slightly smaller turd. If you want to hang your hat on that study, you didn't need…
MST3k definitely makes otherwise completely unwatchable movies watchable. Be careful what you wish for there. The versions without the jokes behind them might just drive you completely insane.
He's not being an ass, he's saying that he's never seen it "appropriate" to be used 3 times in a paragraph before. No need to get all defensive.
I was honestly kind of pissed that they "killed" him off in that way before they revealed he wasn't dead, because they've already done the "person in power allows themselves to be killed"-type storyline with Chappelle. So it did seemed a bit hacky, but his death wasn't actually that much of a shock based on the show's…
That one was great, but he shouldn't be hitting 1/10 corners into the box, he should be putting almost all of them in there, and a lot of them will get defended.
Young football lovers shouldn't be reading Deadspin, a site where the articles often have material that's not for children. Normally I'd agree, but you have to take into account where you are.
This would be a valid statement, but including more choices isn't gearing the game toward a smaller niche, it's incorporating that niche by gearing the game towards more people, not different people.
