Not only did they deny the OBVIOUS racial bias here, but they COMPOUNDED that racial bias by claiming that racial bias wasn’t, in fact, the cause of this and that the librarian had “good intentions”.

Hopefully students and faculty at UNC see this entire sordid affair as a learning opportunity and a PERFECT example of how racism destroys everything. 

This is what happens to institutions that kowtow to racists. They really will never learn.

ALL of this backlash against CRT actually makes the point that teaching about racism in school is extremely important in this nation. Because how the hell do you teach history without teaching the fact that racism was literally ingrained in the Constitution when this nation was founded? 

The problem is the fact that the First Amendment literally protects their right to lie. They have bent and twisted that right far beyond what the First Amendment was intended and are literally destroying the fabric of this nation as a result.
