Velma’s main problem is 90% of the jokes are meta jokes about wokeness. They also have a tendecy to point out or straight up explain a joke that was made which is like the opposite of why I watch adult animation. Inside Job gets cancelled and we’re stuck with this. Bleh.

Aside from having nothing to do with the original characters, Velma just isn’t any good. And it’s the second part that’s really a shame because Kaling has lots of talent.

Why can’t we just say Velma was bad?  Because thats what it was... The writers and the approach it took just didn’t work.
