@Almightywhacko: Thanks. I think you were more clear than I was. I know it doesn't feel right to some, but people have to get used that laws exist whether they make sense or not.

@schunniky: I worked in the field way back when... tedious is a rather apt description...

@cyberathena: Other examples: TIME, SHELL, CATERPILLAR.

@Eric Geller: Yes. Because it's trademarked. Of course you have to specify exactly when other cannot use the word or sentence without owing you, still the word apple is trademarked.

@Tyrunn: Dude, there's a difference between COPYRIGHT and TRADEMARK.

@Eric Geller: Existing words and phrases can be trademark.

@Tyrunn: Unfortunately, my friend, it's very possible to trademark words. Remember when the widow of one of the passengers that took down one of the terrorist on the plane wanted to trademark "let's roll!"

@Fliesen: This is really astounding that someone was able to do that. It tells you that a few years ago, the trademark office was probably thinking "Droid and Android! What are those? Never mind, just grant them the right to use it no one's ever gonna need those words!" (circa 1979)

@Hearthatvoiceagain: I thought I read somewhere that Google paid rights for the usage of the term, no?

@tekdemon: There's so much corruption over there. I really feel for that guy...

@Dysphoria: Sorry, I'm a bit late to the party... Just wanted you to keep in mind that the gluten might be what's making you feel crappy, not the dairy. A lot of people think it's lactose, but there's tons of people allergic to gluten out there.

@RaisedOnWhiskey: It's not easy, girl. It's not that people who find work are more deserving then you, it's that they're more lucky. That means that you can't give up and remember that you never know when you're going to get an offer, so when you're out try to get your spirits high.

Thanks, everybody! I already use Astro but it does not offer to back up txt msg. I use my txt msg for reminders and send information that I'm supposed to enter in Remember the Milk, but *always* forget to do so!

@cc: Yes, you're right.

@Discodave: R.O.A.C.H. M.O.T.E.L.: Odd would be one thing... I think he's more like "It rubs the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again" type of ickyness... Remember all the news clippings he was collecting?

@thelotmb: I know, right? I didn't see anything dirty in your comment.

@Unsub: Ha ha ha! Way to spoil the entire plot! Too funny!

@Occula: I thought you expressed yourself very clearly and this was a great reminder of what concept art is and is not.
