Love the Dark Cloud visual style.
You Don't Have to Go to College Right Away (Or At All)
That's another good strategy. I typically do the same thing, but I still don't like investing in levels if i only can only get 2 or 3. I try to save enough to at least invest 5 or 6, otherwise I can easily focus on the wrong attributes and end up with something less-than-ideal. I still don't really lose a large…
Not really true. Only just beat it this weekend, haven't even ventured into NG+ (where you deal one-half damage and take one-half MORE damage) yet.
After lvl150, 50,000 souls is only two levels, if you're lucky. Not much sense investing them. I prefer to have at least 100-200k available to me when I start leveling. That way I have a better grasp of where my investments should go.
84. Hope
Welcome to the internet.
Well you should definitely feel accomplished, man! Getting his tail solo... that's dedication. I think I've solo'd him before but never been able to get his tail without the help of a summon. Congrats!!
Definitely been there before haha. Especially on bosses that you've been fighting for an hour or more... You just want to be DONE with it at a certain point, but DS is definitely not the kind of game you want to be greedy with. Be poised, be focused, and take your time. Any other strategy, unless you're highly…
The game is very fair, even when the scales are tipped against you. I can count on one hand the number of times I've died from some weird game glitch or other BS (though when they happen they are MADDENING) — every other time has been completely and entirely on my skill level.
Yes! Kalameet takes a LOT of practice, and is nearly impossible to solo. Some of his attacks are so quick you don't have much time to react. You have to really watch his movements and only attack when you can get behind or under him.
At level 56, so long as you haven't put in too many meaningless points (looking at you, Resistance), you should be very well-prepared for Quelaag. The rusty ring isn't going to do you all that much go0d, in reality, since the fight doesn't even take place in the swamp. Just keep trying, and eventually you'll master…
HA! I'm pretty sure I recorded this with an old toy cassette recorder I had as a kid so I could listen to this song all day.
Wholeheartedly agree... Undeniably powerful soundtrack. I would add Via Purifico
I'm a little late to this party, but I have to say I'm surprised no one's mentioned this one yet.
The difference is that X's story is much more personal and engaging than XIII (or any of its sequels) will ever be. The plot is way to convoluted to be relatable, but X has such a powerful story that even though it's quite linear, you are at least connected to the characters and world in a way that makes some…
Jesus. I appreciate how much they did for the HD remaster and all, but come on... They really couldn't add that in?
Thirteen years later, these sphere puzzles are still bullshit.
