To each his own.
To each his own.
:) Yeah, I know. I'll get off my soapbox. It's just a pet peeve.
As I said in my other comment, there's so much happening in the US, even at a local level, that the news just totally glazes over. Our news outlets are shamefully poor. What about local elections? How about starting a dialogue with viewers on hot-button issues? Anything to stimulate people rather than show them a…
Not really. I just never stopped keeping track after they went into the negative.
Well yeah, sure.. I'm not saying the news should only broadcast the evils of the world... but at the same time, there are SO many things going on in the world/US that the news outlets NEVER touch on... yet here they are wasting time talking about a goddamn chair come couple is gonna get rich from instead of talking…
The fact that this is televised news coverage makes me lose soooo many faith-in-humanity points.
took the words out of my mouth
I think I'd be good with 85k/year. With that, I could afford to have the loft apartment of my dreams, lease a car, repay student loans, and still have enough left over to do one or two good vacations a year and contribute to a 401k/personal savings account. I don't care if GameStop goes broke.. but if M$ is taking money from used game sales, they better be giving ALL OF IT to the developers. They're the ones who built the game, M$ just provides a platform. They got their money from the console sale, and they should keep their grubby mitts off everything else.
If it came from China, I don't trust it. But your article states 81 percent of fifth graders see death as final, and do NOT believe in reincarnation... so wouldn't that suggest that regardless of your ability to 'revive' in a video game, the child still understands that there's no coming back from death? What's the…

Well there's tons of fitness/dance games out there like Just Dance, DDR, etc. which require the use of your whole body :)
Why are we "weak"? Because we recognize a woman's right to have her own life and aspire to her own achievements? Because we challenge our bodies and minds with challenging games? If these traits make me weak, what do I call you, Joe?
Interesting arguments. I will have to listen to it many many times and really reflect on what he's saying before I come to a conclusion about how I feel about it, though.
This looks great! Made me think of ICO and Journey..
Notice you're the one talking about wether or not it's good/bad. Regardless of how you feel about it, the piece still has a meaning it's trying to convey. I was merely referencing the fact that the meaning seems to be lost on a lot of Giz readers, and not just this piece. Many times, when Giz posts something…

Leave it to Gizmodo commentors to be totally clueless about Art.
