They made it pretty clear in the original Dr. Phil segment that mother and daughter “beat each other.” That girl’s been abused her entire life, and mom’s making a big deal of it now because the girl’s big enough to hit back.

This child has clearly been abused her entire life. It amazes me that as much negative attention she’s received that her abusive (and now exploitative) mother is being absolved of all blame.

I think if you get some of these that are all one solid piece, you’ll get more than 8 years out of them. But that said, 8 years for a $10 kitchen tool that gets used regularly isn’t shabby at all.
