Well, the Western localized release for Mary Skelter 2 only came out on Switch in NA and EU, despite the Japanese version being a PS4 exclusive when it first released in Japan. And the reason for that likely is indeed because Idea Factory did not want to have to alter the lewdy parts of the game under Sony’s policies…

Because japanese publishing companies don’t buy advertisement space on US websites.

They can't patch it since the game is too old. Majora's mask is a Nintendo 64 game released almost 20 years ago. It is far too late to patch a game that old. Old games don't get patched. Maybe the 3DS version of Majora's mask will get patched.
