Also, the Ghibli museum is very conscious of it’s affect on the town it’s in. Its closed for at least week every year so the people from the town can go enjoy the museum and (I think) for free.

Yeah, the site is basically unusable now. Used to be a lot of good information that you can now access for a small monthly fee, and for good measure they ruined the navigation so even the free info is sometimes hard to find. The IMDB wing was also pointlessly chopped up, though not as badly.
