Best Picture winners are rarely considered to be the best film of the year (at least with hindsight, though there are exceptions) so while I thought The Shape Of Water was only quite good, it was pleasing for something odd to win it for a change, instead of a biopic or a clumsily written message movie.

Since Trump took office, the Right has normalized the use of stochastic terrorism as a tactic for achieving policy goals. It is fucked up and wrong and should be called out for it is wherever it appears.

As 38 year old who remembers when this scandal broke she was slut shamed to even greater degree and he was treated like a hero. If anything she was treated worse than other women because people people felt like because she posed in Playboy she wasn’t allowed to be upset. Kinda like you are.
