“You are one sexy mother-fucker."
“You are one sexy mother-fucker."
These are the only Michael Caine acting tips you’ll ever need...
It’s a story of forbidden love... Jake Predator is stuck in a loveless marriage, except for once a year when he goes on a “hunting trip” with...um...Heath Predator in
Brokeback Predator
Still hoping that some day we get a movie that follows a Predator back home to his nagging wife and unfulfilling corporate job, and everyone hating him on social media for hunting in a protected area.
Walk Hard is exactly what I thought of when Kidman said “I’m Lucille Ball. When I’m being funny you’ll know it.”
Oh wait so it’s about Ireland and it, for the first time in any film or tv series, addresses THE TROUBLES??? It took him this long to realize people are interested in Ireland because of THE TROUBLES??? That’s so on-brand “hit the world’s largest target somewhere” for Branagh.
Yes, and in that MOVIE, two consenting adults got into a relationship. Like it’s a situation where all laws and societal norms would be out the window, and people are like “Ew, age difference, gross”?
I’m sorry to have to tell you this but it’s NOT A REAL THING that happened, it’s a MOVIE
spoiler alert?
People think it’s too “twee” and “indie” or whatever but it genuinely taps into something. I feel like it’s one of the more realistic depictions of what end times would be like.
It’s a movie about the literal apocalypse and we’re worried that two consenting adults having sex is problematic?
But....I thought they were just friends?
Walk Hard has ruined every other biopic for me. Seeing Bohemian Rhapsody play every biopic cliche straight completely fell flat because Walk Hard had mocked them all a decade earlier.
- It sure is great being here at Live Aid, isn’t it, Freddie Mercury?
- Sure is, Elton John!
Thanks for the tribute to Walk Hard which is the only biopic I have ever enjoyed.
maybe it’s partly the age difference between the leads
At the very least, it should be able to surmount Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Big same!
Oh, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is wonderful. I guess I understand why it’s not more well-known or talked about - a tough movie to market I guess. But it’s beautifully done and sweet as hell.
Came here to say the same thing. That movie is ridiculously underrated.
I love “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” more than most, so this has a steep uphill climb to claim “best Keira Knightley movie about the end of the world” for me.
