This was my thirteenth consecutive riot fest (cue all the rote old timer jokes), and hands down my worst one. Some of that was me. I had a tough time deciding whether to use my 2020 pass because you know why, but ultimately decided to with some ground rules: wear a mask basically the whole time (and always during any

Watch his Criterion closet video on YouTube. It’s only a few minutes long but his love of movies is contagious.

How cool is Patti Smith! Damn, wish I could have seen her...

He’s unbelievably charming as well.

Fuck this guy is funny as hell.

You’re Dad and I’m Doug. Forget it...I’m out of here.

But on the upside, I don’t think anybody will be surprised that Conan showed strength and integrity in this situation and stood up for his friend.

Kind of a bummer that your first instinct is to position box office returns as more important than creativity and originality. I get that that happens, and there are industry politics, etc. etc., but I also appreciate when directors of great movies (and Blade Runner 2049 IS a great movie) have the integrity to speak

While I haven’t seen Shang Chi, maybe the timing of the statement was indeed poor, but a good portion of the movies in the MCU do follow a formula especially when it comes to storytelling, dialogue, fights, look, and finales. When you get dozens of movies emerging from largely the same mold and only with few, rare exce

Authorities have identified an individual known only as Zach, who reportedly has a deep psychological fixation on Lego bricks, as a likely suspect.

Pretty sad to see Team Rocket reduced to driving around in a van.

Here's to hoping the authorities catch them all.

If you make a deliberate misstatement of fact that defames a real person, they can sue. To recover more than actual damages, she must show malice. It is a difficult legal standard.

I disagree. I also remember the 5 win limit, and I personally like the current format better. It isn’t really manufacturing dramatic elements, it just so happens that some people are great Jeopardy contestants, and I find it intriguing to see how long they can win. It also isn’t really a star player going on a winning

I think typically when they go super hard on a very specific property (unless said property is objectively horrible, it’s because they like it. Like back in Community when Jeff and Annie ripped on Marvel pretty mercilessly, but he obviously knew the Russo Brothers were making captain america at that point, and them

  • Hey, it’s the return of the dipshit bug aliens! Boy do those guys die easy, huh.

A mad scientist going to another dimension to steal a version of his dead child?

Watched this with my son, which led to me showing him clips of Hawk from the Buck Rogers t.v. show to explain BP. What I’m saying is: Rick and Morty brings families together.

Well, of course this show would drop a bomb like “you live with a version of our dead daughter” so casually. And that just raises even further questions, like if the backstory Rick provided in “The Rickshank Redemption” actually has a grain of truth to it, or if what was said is even real at all, considering that
