…damn that is tough.
Flagged for "crazy talk"

I dug the first Deathspank game…nothing like playing as Medieval Tick. The voice acting and writing definitely stood out. Now I'm just waiting for the others to go on sale on Steam…
It seems to me that the Doctor's faith is that he will always be able to figure out a solution, no matter how dire the situation. But for this half of the season, one of the main plots has been his awareness of when he will die. So one theory is, his greatest fear is of failure—perhaps the "who else??" is a bow-tied…
^ this. I could have sworn this was an existing Who alien, or something I'd read in the Hitchhiker's series.
Anyone have a clue what accent the Pirate King's was supposed to resemble?
My 8-year-old loves Ghostopolis, but I suspect that is mainly because it is in full color as opposed to most of the other books we have.
I liked this episode. Jessica, Pam, Eric, Jessica, Hoyt's mom, Andy, Jessica, the promise of more Russell, Jessica, and the poor girl from Fangtasia were great (although I think this is the first episode where she didn't get to scream?).
Something something photo something 2000 year old man
I don't think I was taken/snuck in to any R movies at the theater until I was actually of age, but I definitely remember getting cold busted watching a VHS tape of Eddie Murphy's Delirious at my best friend's house. Thanks AV Club for reminding me that I'm old!
Makes a lot of sense…seemed designed to specifically address the "Where's Nibbler/Mom/etc.?" and "What's up with Fry and Leela?" questions that pop up in reasonable discussions across the webs. I second "messy but entertaining"
Judging by the record number of group challenges this year (and lower level of talent), they have vaulted over that line.
Tough call but I'm going with the "Final Fantasy boss" line. We are truly living in a golden age of snarky criticism.

You could consider putting Black in with the first group due to Viva Variety.
His Hellblazer run is great. My favorite Ennis works by far are his War Stories at Vertigo.
I love the Wonderputt aesthetic!
The scene with her arguing with Antonia was fantastic. As for the rest? I think the comedic side of the show is really starting to shine, especially Pam, Andy/Terry, and Jason.
