The only drama I faced was watching an elderly election official take ten minutes to page through the names while she searched for mine, then lose her place and start over. There’s a tight congressional race in my district, so I’ve got my fingers crossed for both Hillary and Zephyr.

Trump denies the strangest things. He’s bragged at length about cheating on Ivana and he’s bragged about grabbing and peeping and popping tic-tacs to prepare for his slobbery sneak attacks. It’s been reported that a common thread among his supporters is a shared attitude toward women, so you’d think he’d just own it.

From what I understand, she did the DM interview shortly before the press conference, so there was a window of time when she was prepared to come out publicly. When the press conference was canceled at the last minute due to threats, Bloom mentioned the woman didn’t want to reveal her face, so there’s a pretty good

Yeah, the way her experience got highjacked early on by a couple of opportunistic jackasses really makes my stomach turn.

Of course not. Nor am I willing to dismiss her claim wholesale.

Apparently, she did an interview with the Daily Mail (oof), and revealed herself (for those of you who still question whether she exists). My guess is that she panicked when the interview went up and had the claim dropped, because the piece is definitely written like it was meant to be a big expose.

Trump knows who she is. The people Trump surrounds himself with know who she is. Trump’s abusive attorney—who’s already threatened the media—knows who she is. She also made it clear in her statement that she was threatened by Trump and Epstein at the time, and continued to be threatened over the years since.

Katie Couric also has ties to Epstein. Epstein got around.

I agree. The woman who interviewed Katie Johnson for the Revelist mentioned that she was terrified and cagey. In the filed statement, Johnson mentioned that Trump threatened her life, continually, for years. In fact, from what I understand, that coercion’s being raised to argue against the statute of limitations, and,

I’ve been following this case since June. Everything that’s been cited as evidence that she’s somehow untrustworthy looks, to me, like evidence that (1) she’s been terrified of coming forward and that (2) she was exploited, or nearly exploited, by a couple of opportunists.

I think she’s suggesting that because we’ve now seen how Trump reacts to these allegations and how he treats the accusers, it takes courage to still choose to come forward. I didn’t take her comment to suggest that the others weren’t courageous or that there’s some kind of pissing contest of courage happening here,
