Sounds good to me - though I work with airports and architects designing these types of layouts and though the 90deg turn would indeed help reduce choke points, there is no space typically for that arrangement. Existing airports in the US are having to sardine in more hang baggage screening lanes by the day, and there

I thought there would be more good stuff here in Dubai - but this is the top $$$ within 50 miles. Conversion is .27USD to 1 AED

The Pavement was trying really hard. Wire Cutters was awesome, and One-Minute Time Machine is clearly the winner.

I really think those were added in post production :/

Hong Kong is an amazing airport with indeed an incredibly baggage system. But as far as the most efficient and modern? That award goes to the new airports that are currently in design, or being built. Many of the existing airports have old systems tied into new systems which create an interesting patchwork of new/old

Some don’t even have to pay to ride...kids are such sneaky bastards.

All that is certainly not for one bag lol..that system is designed to process over 100 bags per minute..from point A to B...6,000 bags per hour, 108,000 bags per day. And it does take up a HUGE amount of space. The bowels of an airport are basically conveyors and BHS (baggage handling systems). We work extremely close

Designed by Vanderlande Industries - very dutch!

I design these things. Schiphol is pretty big and I think handles around 40 to 50 million annual passengers (MAP)...in comparison the current New Istanbul Airport under design right now is planned to handle 90 MAP when it opens and then expand to 120 MAP...and then even BIGGER is the Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai which
