NRA’s influence over our country and gun culture plays at least a factor in this. They’ve made owning a gun not a responsibility, but a thing you just do. They’ve fought measures making it difficult for people who don’t need guns or shouldn’t have guns to acquire them. Their role here is indirect but absolutely real.

Do you think a farmer should be able to shoot coyotes that are killing their livestock? Should people who need to hunt to actually acquire food not be allowed to have guns?
