Yes, it’s a misdimeanor, but it’s still a big deal. You aren’t driving away from a stop with a revoked license. You’re getting taken in and processed.

Abuses of power are always going to exist, and it’s not always a race thing. How we punish those who commit these crimes (the cops) is what actually matters. It’s them getting away with it that is the real tragedy.
