Wambach seems intent on making herself look bad. She isn’t playing well and she’s complaining about the refs. I really hope the coach benches her, or at least has her on the bench to start, but I’m sure that won’t happen.

Any racing where you have to directly interact with your opponent makes it a sport (or at least doesn’t rule it out as a sport). The big one I struggle with defining is long distance running.

Just make direct competition a requirement for a game to be a sport and you’ve solved the problem. You must be directly affecting your opponent and vice versa.
