Pretty sure you know they meant ‘no one knows how much longer,’ into the future they'll have to wait, not past Tense how long they've already done.

Just purchased my 2nd manual transmission car a couple weeks ago, used of course. The real problem comes in to play in 10-20 years down the line when all the used cars are automatic or-shudder-CVT.

I had one of these as my 2nd car, picked up as a pseudo high school graduation present/needed to replace a totalled 1990 accord. Deep navy on grey interior. This thing def has some power that’s for sure. Also the most comfortable car I’ve owned. Got it at ~67k for 6800 in 2007, drove it for 4 years and around 34k

So you left out the most compelling factor of the whole story: this dude is in throes of early onset dementia due to his years of abusing his body-esp the manner in which he boxes-by allowing himself to be a punching bag til the other boxer wears himself out. Had that not been an element of the story I may not have

Sry tom waits is the musician version of d.lynch...

You were formerly against the separation of church and state(specifically in 1800s Britain)? Seems antithetical to stereotypical hippie norms...I dig the word, though.

I get your point, man. The cultural narrative in our country has shifted in such a way that when looking at this rorshac test of a statement (in that there’s no context) that a large group of people don’t see the fact that working like this into one’s 60 is in no way what would have been called ‘the American dream'

Def shades of hunter s Thompson in this piece...well done.

That sounds very similar to what Jon Stewart described in attempting gender equity w the daily show writers...

Tool's been one of my favorite bands since 2000.  Seen them live 4 times, along w apc too in 2004.  Aenima and lateralus are two of the best albums ever recorded imo. 13th step was pretty excellent as well.

So glad someone else knows of this hidden gem of a band. Been jamming the No Gods, No Managers album since I was turned onto it in 2002. Leftover Crack is also excellent, but not as much so...

A favorite from family road trips would include the usual classic rock of petty, ccr, Springsteen, etc. But golden earring’s ‘radar love’ is almost perfect.

This new (to me) reality has just fell over me like dusk as of Saturday when I traded my 02 legacy for a 10 forester. Immediately started looking for a replacement wheel. Feedback is a necessity.

‘Camera’ry?
