I'm really hoping for Abigail Brand/SWORD introduction. But I don't know how much, if an, of that would be owned by fox. But Whedon did create Brand so here's hoping.

I liked Karen Traviss' series. Other than the fact that she tried to make Jedi regular humans and turned the Mandolorians into superhuman soldiers (all of them not just clones) And her grievous errors in understating the Clone Army strength.
