The gear isn't remarkable in comparison to other similar games. Most importantly the progression in the game (which is directly tied to gear) is a complete abomination.

100%. Destiny's loading is some of the worst ive ever experienced, especially having to swap gear between characters. Half the time id rather log off than go through the awful process.
I thought Edward was one of the best. Hes right up there with Ezio and Haytham in terms of performances and being interesting and fun to watch.
Unfortunate that you didn't seem to enjoy the story. It has me a little more cautious, but im still very excited to judge for myself.
I effing love blades of steel. It was the king of hockey games for a longggg time.
95% of the time both participants are willing. Its not like you can just jump some guy and beat the hell out of him.
As long as a fight is even and both guys are willing, the refs will let it go. Once the players fall, or both tie up (in otherwords saying were to tired to keep going), then they will step in to stop it.
I was actually really surprised. I love RPG's, and usually its the stories and characters that push them to being the amazing games they are (gameplay is usually good, but not amazing).
Your dad is right. As I mentioned in another post though, this doesn't ever hinder LoU.
First of all the entirety of walking dead relies on its story. LoU is an a+ videogame in its own right, to go along with the story.
Personally I think Walking Dead is heavily overrated. Its gameplay was non existent, so everything comes down to its story. Most of its storytelling had been done a billion times before (that entire second episode for example would have been cool for those seeing it for the first time, but its the most used cliche in…
I think your tastes are quite similar to my own. Fire Emblem and Rogue legacy were amazing and in my top 5.
15 times is an overstatement, but I truly believe it was a better game and by a notable margin.
You know what we dont have in Canada? 8 year old kids getting suspended for their haircut, 10 year jail terms for typing in an online videogame, or letting a drunk driver get off with a quadruple homicide because he was "affluent" and his parents had so much money that he can't be expected to follow the same…
Im a useless asshole because I dont support terrorism charges over glitter? Sign me up.
Everyday I read about 5 absurd stories like this from the US. Words cannot express how happy I am that I do not live there.
Great choice, that was definitely one of my favorites.
Quite serious. Heavy rain was an extremely unique game that not only told a gripping tale for you to play through, but somehow always found new gameplay mechanics in a simple system.
One of the biggest ripoffs in gaming.
Haven't played Beyond two souls yet, but Heavy Rain was about 15 times the game Walking Dead was.
