I can tell they are trying REALLY hard for The Expanse to be the new BSG but I just don't think the characters are interesting. BSG had awesome characters.

The shows definitely have a lot of overlap. They are genre shows. Both fantasy believe it or not. Also Preacher is like the definition of juvenile violence. I like it but I'm not gonna pretend it is something it isn't.
