    The ability of that number to provide material comfort/wealth is wildly dependent on where you live. $295K in Worcester MA is much different than $295K in San Francisco CA. Cost of living needs to be taken into account - and no, one can’t “just move” and take their salary with them to a less expensive area.

    No - the linked article states that contribution limits don’t apply to a backdoor Roth. However, I’ve never heard this before and have been told directly by my IRS/Roth account managers that these limits DO apply.

    Sony MDR-7509HD are without question the greatest headphones I've ever had. A little overkill for daily/casual listener, but fantastic for really any application. I keep a pair of 7509s at home for studio use and a pair of V6s at my office for casual listening. Both are great.
