I think he would be able to do it on a dyno if he held dyno speed constant and just measured torque response at constant RPM. If he did it without a dyno then the increase in engine speed would skew the results to faster throttle response. Educated conjecture here, ME but I haven’t worked with a vehicle dyno before.
