I think the idea is that electric motors don’t spin at high enough RPMs for this to be effective. The dyson motors that spin at ridiculous RPMs probably don’t produce enough torque to spin up the turbos to any reasonable degree.
The truth is, if these workers aren’t working on the manhole covers, what would they be doing instead?
